Third Day has invited families who have experienced the gift of adoption to become part of Third Day's live performance. Check out their special letter to fans below...
Adoption is such an incredible picture of God's redemptive grace. As you can see in the "Children Of God" video, it has touched our Third Day family first hand. So, we've been thinking, how has it touched other families? How can we share that story with the world?Third Day often includes video presentations in its live concerts. We'd love to make your story part of our story. If you've adopted, or been adopted, we'd love to include a picture of your family in our live concerts. Here's what we need from you. Take a family photo with your adopted child holding a simple sign that says, "ADOPTED." Your picture can be with the entire family, just the adopted child and parents, or just the adopted child. You can have serious expressions, or silly expressions, whatever you want. We love your creativity and want to see your personality. So, the more creative the better! If you don't think you are creative, that's ok too. Just a picture with a smile will be great!
If your family hasn't yet adopted, chances are you know a family who has. Pass on this message to them or send them a link to this page so they can be included. We'll then edit the photos together to make a slide show/video to play behind the band during our upcoming concerts.
To submit your photos and be included in this project, please send a high quality photo, taken from a 3 megapixel camera or greater to adopted@thirdday.com.
*By sending in a photograph, you are giving your implicit release for Third Day to use your photo in our live concerts and any recordings from those shows. Please do not send in copyrighted photos.
We look forward to seeing how adoption has changed your lives and sharing it with the world at our concerts! For more information, some adoption resources, and to watch the "Children Of God" video, please visit www.ThirdDay.com/adopted.
Thank You,
